The best Rightmove extensions in 2026

Browser extensions can add a lot to Rightmove: price history, sold prices, yields, risk data. This is a comparison of the main options. Property Track - free price history

Property Track does one thing and does it completely free: it shows the full asking-price history of every Rightmove listing, including previous listings of the same property and how long it has really been on the market. No account, no card, no search limits, on Chrome and Firefox. It has tracked over 8 million UK listings since 2023 and is rated 5.0 on the Chrome Web Store.

What it doesn't do: sold prices, valuations, yields or risk data. If you want those, one of the tools below is a better fit - or a complement.

PropBar - deep research, at a price

PropBar is the most advanced research tool here. Its property reports pull together sold prices since 1995, an independent valuation, dozens of automated risk checks, schools, planning and demographics, largely from official sources like HM Land Registry. It's a paid subscription: £49.99 for a single month, or £24.99/month if you commit to six months (£149.94), with the Chrome extension and unlimited property checks included. PropBar pitches that as the cost of a coffee for the length of a house search - fair enough, but it is a subscription. If you're deep into a purchase and want everything about an address, PropBar goes further than anyone.

PaTMa - built for investors

PaTMa's extension (part of its Prospector toolkit) is aimed squarely at property investors and landlords: yield and ROI calculations, refurb and refinance modelling, comparables, rental data and area alerts, layered onto the listings you browse. It works in Chrome and Firefox. It's a paid product - plans start around £5/month with a 14-day free trial - and if you're analysing deals rather than buying a home, that's money well spent.

Property Log - price history, with usage limits

Property Log is the closest tool to Property Track: a Chrome extension that records Rightmove price changes and links relisted properties so the history survives a relist. It has been around for years and does the job well. The practical differences: it is free only up to a point - after a certain amount of use, price data is blurred out - and it's Chrome-only, while Property Track is unlimited and also supports Firefox.

Property Bee - retired

Property Bee was the original property price-history tool and earned a loyal following, but its makers officially retired it years ago; the final version only runs on an obsolete version of Firefox. Which should you choose?

It depends on what you're doing. Buying a home and want to negotiate well? Start with price history - Property Track if you want it free and unlimited - and consider paying for PropBar when you're serious about a specific address and want sold comparables and risk checks.
